The 4-Series SDMs leverage an open-standards, system-on-module architecture to optimize performance, cost, and SWaP. Using a common compute platform with off-the-shelf hardware, users can efficiently host multiple applications, including satellite waveforms, interference excision with iDirectGov’s CSIR technology, and a FIPS 140-3 Level 3–approved AES Cryptographic Core. Applications are integrated through the WCore interface, which supports both iDirectGov and third-party solutions.
