One of the main concerns of soldiers and special operations personnel out in the field is being able to communicate effectively from anywhere, anytime. These professionals rely heavily on equipment that has the smallest size, weight and power (SWaP) footprint as possible.

Building on the success of the e850mp, we’ve taken it and made it smaller while increasing its performance.
Our 950mp is a mere 6.6 inches wide, 7 inches deep and 1.25 inches high but still has all the bang of the e850mp and more.
The extremely compact and lightweight board makes it easy to integrate into a portable VSAT solution. The 950mp meets the most rigorous demands for mobility and security and, like its predecessor, supports data, voice and video connectivity for highly-mobile military and government applications.
Simply put – soldiers carrying satellite terminals with our 950mp boards embedded have their entire support system in their rucksack.
Another concern they may have is making sure their connection is secure. Like its predecessor, the 950mp is compliant with the highest military security requirements featuring AES encryption and TRANSEC technology.
But unlike its predecessor, we’ve upped the ante in security. Our 950mp now has next-level security featuring improved TRANSEC with its use of Elliptical Curve Cryptography for key generation and x.509 certification for authentication with an advanced FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliance.
In other words, we have created a smaller, more lightweight product with better security, IP throughput performance improvements and improved connectivity.
The 950mp is part of our 9-Series product line that reduces SWaP across the board and drastically improves performance and functionality. The 9-Series (including the 900 and 9350 dual demodulator modems) operates on the Evolution platform.
