In 2017, we celebrated our 10th anniversary and broke records. Let's take a look back at some of the year's highlights as we press onward into 2018.
iDirect Government had one heck of a year.
In 2017, we celebrated 10 years of being one of the leaders in the satellite communications industry and attended a few trade shows in the spring. When autumn and winter came, we honored our veterans and our fallen heroes.
As life coach Melody Beattie once said, "Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow." Before we move onward with our vision and goals for 2018, let's briefly reflect on some of the highlights from 2017.
The iDirect Government booth at the Satellite 2017 trade show March 7-10, 2017 in Washington, D.C. All the buzz from iDirect Government at Satellite 2017 this year was about our 9-Series Airborne Satellite Routers. Our new routers were designed with military customers in mind to support their vast data and high-speed requirements. Not only that, they're secure, too and meet Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 Level 3.
Mitch Cole, senior systems engineer, gives an overview of iDirect Government's 950mp and 9050OM at the Special Operations Forces Industry Conference (SOFIC) May 16-18 in Tampa, Florida. Since 2013, iDirect Government has been a proud sponsor at SOFIC, which showcases products and technology used by the Special Operation Forces of the U.S. military.

Since 2007, iDirect Government has been the growing technology provider of choice for government agencies and the U.S. military. We would not be where we are today if it was not for our customers, dedicated employees and our passion for doing what we do every day.

Wreaths Across America
iDirect Government employees proudly took part in Wreaths Across America (WAA) on Dec. 16, 2017 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. The WAA organization gathers wreaths to lay on the headstones of military veterans buried in national cemeteries across the nation to honor them. This year, they gathered enough wreaths for every veteran's headstone across the country.
